Videnskaberfremtiden
Multimedia CD-rom included with the book 'Videnskaberfremtiden' (Villum Kann Rasmussen Fonden / Experimentarium)

'Videnskaberfremtiden' is a multimedia cd-rom which i worked on, as part of a team, while at DanskMedieDesign.
My main area of responsibility was recording and editing all speak for the project (spoken by Sofie Lassen-Kahlke and Karl Bille ) plus converting and editing of all videos. Some videos also had speak added to their soundtracks.
There was in all 149 speak files and 43 videos used in the project. Mp3 format was used for the speak, and Mpeg used for video. The video files needed to be converted from at variety of sources; vhs tape, dv, real media, quicktime, windows media and director shockwave files.
The audio tracks were edited and mastered in cool edit / Adobe Audition, while Adobe Premiere was used for video editing.
The book and cd-rom were printed / pressed in 65,000 copies and distributed free to all highschool students in Denmark. It was released at a reception in the Experimentarium in Copenhagen.
