Sextant animation

Flash Animation for Kattegatcentret
(2008)

'Sextant Animation' is a flash animation i designed, while working as a freelanceer in 2008.

It is interactive, so that the user can drag the sextants 'arm' and see what the user will see, as it is pointed at the horizon and sun.
It was made for use on a touch screen and is now part of the permanent display at the Kattegatcentre in Greenå. This was a freelance project for poppmedia.dk

Adobe Flash CS3 was used for drawing of all graphics and animation.

Interactive example:

Drag the sextants arm with your computer mouse, and see the view change
in the eyepiece. When the viewer is pointing directly at the sun, the sun is level
with the horizon in the eyepiece.
