My name is Joe Coyne and this is my online portfolio. I am a Multimedia Designer, and have also studied as a Graphic Designer for DTP, as a Sound Engineer, IT Strategy at IT University in Copenhagen, and recently studied IT and Kommunication at IBC in Kolding, covering subjects such as Marketing 3.0, Facebook and social media, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), Google Adwords and Google Analytics, Blogging, Wordpress, Usability in design and Usability testing, Intranet, and much more.

Mayday Medie was the name I chose for my design firm when I worked as a freelanceer in 2007 - 2009. The projects I have here in my portfolio though are not just from then, but a broad section of projects I have worked on while at DanskMedieDesign from 2000 - 2007, and again 2009 - 2010, and also while at Convince Interactive in 2009.

As you can see from this site my interests are wide and varied. The last year has mostly involved E-learning moduls at DanskMedieDesign. At the moment I spend most of my time working with websites in Joomla CMS. Other interests are designing in Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign, video editing with Apples Final Cut and Adobe After effects, sound recording in Apple Logic and Cubase, SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and online marketing of websites.

This is just a small selection of projects - there are many more I have contributed to - but it would be impossible to name or list them all.

I am originally from Ireland, but am based here in Århus, Denmark since the 90's, so I can communicate just as easily in danish.
